Education Materials / Lunch & Learns

If you ever need pink ribbons, shower self-awareness cards, brochures or other materials, you can call our office at 317.638.2873 to arrange for pick up or mailing. We also have staff and volunteers who can give breast health presentations at corporate wellness lunch n' learns, group events, churches, etc. - you can call to ask about that as well!

Breast & Cervical Cancer Program (BCCP)

If you are a woman living in Indiana and have financial difficulty in getting the breast and cervical healthcare you need, the BCCP may be able to help you. See website for details and eligibility.

Komen Treatment Assistance Financial Aid Program

Eligible patients include those who have been diagnosed and are in active treatment for breast cancer and fall within 250 percent or less of the federal poverty limits. Qualified persons may use the one-time grant of $300 to cover expenses for lymphedema care and supplies, durable medical equipment, transportation costs associated with getting to and from treatment, prosthesis and wigs or childcare and/or eldercare necessitated by treatment. Call the breast care helpline at 1-877-GOKOMEN (1-877-465-6636).

BRCA Genetic Testing

Myriad's Financial Assistance Program helps uninsured patients that meet specific financial and medical criteria. See website for details.

Young Survivors' Support Network

Young Survivor Coalition has an Indianapolis Face to Face (F2F) Networking group. YSC has created a group on to help members stay connected and communicate about upcoming activities - it's easy to use and free to join.

Salon Services

Ribbon Salon in Broad Ripple sets aside appointments on Mondays to donate select services - including manicures, pedicures and massages - to women and men currently undergoing cancer treatment, as well as to their friend/guest/driver who attends the appointment with them. Becca Williams at Wild Horses Salon on W. 96th St. will either donate a trim + style a wig or head shave to any breast cancer patients going through treatment. You can call her at 317.250.0846 for more information.  

Cleaning Services

Cleaning For A Reason offers professional house cleanings to help women undergoing cancer treatment. See website for details and eligibility. 

Radiation Tattoo Removal Services

Indy Skin Renew offers free tattoo removal for breast cancer survivors who have the blue tattoo marks from radiation. See website for details and eligibility.
