Q: What is the deadline for online registration and/or to get my t-shirt mailed?
A: Online registration closes a week after the Race and online fundraising stays open for a month after the Race. However, you must register online by noon on Thursday, April 12th to have your packet mailed to you. After that deadline, you will have to get your shirt from Packet Pick-Up & ShopKomen (Thursday, April 19th and Friday, April 20th at the IUPUI Warehouse – 1830 W. 16th Street) or on Race Day at the registration tent (located in Military Park shelter). You can also call the office to arrange a time to pick up your shirt after the Race is over. All Sleep In registrations will have their packets mailed to them – if they’ve registered by noon on Thursday, April 12th, they will receive them by Race Day; if not, they will receive them after the Race. Participants can also register in person at Packet Pick-Up or on Race Day itself and get their t-shirt/bib at the same time.
Note: People who register with paper forms will not get their packets mailed to them, and their registration will not show up online. They will have to be picked up at Packet Pick-Up & ShopKomen or on Race Day.
Q: When will t-shirts be mailed? Why is my teammate getting theirs before mine?
A: Shirt shipment starts in mid-March and goes through mid-April. Since the shipments are mailed in batches out of Dallas Texas, people will get their shirts at different times even if they registered on the exact same day. All packets are mailed separately, even if they are going to the same address.

A: You can email online@komenindy.org. The volunteers who coordinate registration answer these questions, so they will do their best to respond to your inquiry within 24 hours.
Q: I’ve registered for the Race before – do I have to enter my information again?
A: Your non-financial account information remains in our system, so sign in with your previous username and password. If you don’t remember it, we can send it to you if you request it by emailing online@komenindy.org. Please make sure all your contact information is up to date.
Q: Is my online payment information secure?
A: Online donations are housed off-site in a secure, encrypted site that is backed up and password protected. No financial information is housed on any office computer.

Q: Why is “SGK” showing up in my bank account?
A: SGK stands for Susan G. Komen – if you have registered for or made a donation to the Race, that is how it will show up.
Q: I entered cash and checks in my Race fundraising center as an offline donation – why isn’t it showing up on my fundraising total yet?
A: We have to manually process and enter these payments, so it can take up to six weeks before offline donations will be confirmed and show up on your fundraising total.
Q: Why am I getting duplicate emails to one address?
A: Chances are you have registered individuals in addition to yourself and used your email as the default to set up their registrations. Next time we send an email, you can go to the bottom and select “Unsubscribe” to avoid getting the emails that aren’t addressed to you directly.
Q: How can I register for myself then other family or team members if it requires an email address?
A: When you are registering, on X page there is a checkbox saying “I am registering for someone else.” If you select this, the system will recognize that you are not entering a unique address.
Q: When I try to register online for someone else, why does the system say I’m already registered?
A: First, try logging out of the registration system then logging back in. If that doesn’t work, try clearing your cookies (Privacy Settings – Clear Cookies) then close out of your internet program – this should reset the registration page so that there’s no saved content.
Q: Can I still do paper registration?
A: Yes. The forms are available for download here. Please make sure anyone who sends a donation in on your behalf includes this form so we know to credit it to your team fundraising goal.
Q: I can’t upload photos to my Race fundraising center – do they have to be a certain file size?
A: Photos have to be less than 4 MB. The uploader should automatically resize your photo to 300 x 400 pixels—if that doesn’t work, please try resizing it down to those dimensions on your own and then uploading.
Q: Can I bring pet/s?
A: No pets, please. This is for safety, liability and sanitation reasons.
Q: Can I bring a stroller and/or wagon?
A: Yes, but please participate in the 1-mile Family Walk instead of the 5k event. With so many participants in the main Race, it can be difficult to maneuver. If you choose to do the 5K, please try to start towards the back so you have plenty of walking room.
Q: What is the smallest adult t-shirt size?
A: Small

Q: Do they run large or small?
A: They tend to run small.
Q: How do you get a member removed who is deceased?
A: Email info@komenindy.org, and we will get take their name out of the system. Sometimes their name populates again because their record in the system goes back farther than this or last year.
Q: What if I have team member/s who will only do paper registration?
A: Have them make the check to you, and you can register them with their contact information and your billing information. Note: make sure they fill out a registration form so you will have all the information required for their online registration.
Q: What if I am a corporate sponsor with complimentary entries?
A: Email online@komenindy.org to get a team code. Entering the code will allow you to redeem your set number of entries online.
Q: What if my employer pays entries?
A, if you are registering on paper: The employer can collect paper forms then send in payment with the registrations.
A, if you are registering online: We can send the company an invoice via email once all online registrations are in, or a company contact online@komenindy.org to see about getting a Team Code that employees can enter during online registration (recommended for large companies).
Q: What if I or someone I know is a survivor who cannot afford the registration fee?
A: We have discounted rates for breast cancer survivors. If the cost is still prohibitive, please let us know an info@komenindy.org – sometimes we receive donated entries from corporations.
Q: Do you provide wheelchairs?
A: Yes. They are on a first-come, first-serve basis – we will post their pick-up location in January.
Q: Do you provide handicapped parking?
A: Yes. Please contact the office to request a parking permit.
