2010 Race teams are now forming! 

That’s right – you can use our online registration to begin forming your team for the 2010 Komen Indianapolis Race for the Cure.  We make it so easy!  Download a copy of the Team Captain Information Packet to learn everything you need to know to become a Team Captain and build your own team.  Also, be sure also to attend one of the team captain meetings to get the latest updates and materials.   The Team Captain Information Packet will be available soon.

New this year – we will ship team t-shirts and bibs for all who register online – FREE!  This means as a team captain you no longer have to worry about reconciling your team numbers, picking up and distributing shirts, etc.  You can focus all of your efforts on recruiting new team members and helping them raise funds. 

Remember, registration fees get you to the start line but fund raising gets us to the cure!

What is a team?

Teams can be made up of family members, coworkers, friends or any combination of these.  New this year, if your team registers online, there is no minimum number of team members.     

Team Registration

Teams may register Online or by using paper registration forms, however, we ask that ALL members of a team register in the same way – either online or paper. New this year – we will ship team t-shirts and bibs for all who register online – FREE!  Online registration is simple – even a person with minimal computer skills can complete the setup quickly and easily.  And, you will never have to worry about collecting money, registration forms, or filling out lengthy reconciliation forms. 

For those who prefer to use paper, registration forms, team tracking and team reconciliation forms will be available soon.  Should your team continue to register on paper, the team captain will be able to pick up member’s items during Packet Pickup at our warehouse. Keep checking the website or come to one of the team captain meetings.   Register your team or join a team now using our online registration system!

Team Fund Raising

We are encouraging all team members to step up to the challenge and raise money beyond registration fees to support the fight against breast cancer.  All online and confirmed offline donations will be credited both to the individual and will roll into the team fund raising total. Team Captain Orientations

Komen will hold two team captain meetings in January.  You will be able to get everything you need to start your team, ask questions and learn about the best ways to build a team and raise money for the cause.   The first meeting will be January 9th at 9am at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 1660 Kessler Boulevard.  The second will be held January 13th at 6pm in the basement conference room of the Landmark Center, 1099 North Meridian Street.
