How Can I Help?
PINK TIES FOR GUYS - Thursday October 22nd!

Calling all gentlemen! The Circle City’s most fashion-forward campaign is making a bold return Thursday, October 22, and you have the opportunity to be part of it! For the fifth consecutive year, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Indianapolis Affiliate is encouraging area business, civic and community leaders to wear a pink tie or dress shirt in support of the organization’s Pink Ties for Guys campaign.
Held in conjunction with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Pink Ties for Guys campaign was established to increase awareness surrounding the impact of breast cancer, a disease affecting one in every eight women. The effort is also dedicated to communicating the importance of scheduling an annual mammogram. For those receiving an early diagnosis, the five-year survival rate now stands at an amazing 98 percent – proving that early detection is absolutely the best protection.
Mark your calendar for October 22, don that classic pink shirt or tie and know that by doing so, you are making a difference for the beautiful and timeless women who are a part of your life. They’re counting on you to be fashion-forward.
