Much of it stays right here in Indiana!
Of the net proceeds from Komen Indianapolis efforts, 75% will stay in Central Indiana to provide breast health education, breast cancer screening and detection services, and survivor support for underserved women in our 21 county service area. Check out our 2010 grant recipients.
The remaining 25% helps fund scientific and clinical research that is seeking improved diagnostic and treatment methods and ultimately the cures for breast cancer. Organizations interested in providing or currently providing breast health services in Indiana are encouraged to call 317.638.CURE for grant application information.
A wide variety of businesses hold promotional programs throughout the year to raise money for the Indianapolis Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.
