Where: Super Bowl Village
When: Saturday, January 28th – 11:30 a.m. (Village is open 11 a.m. to midnight)
Why: To raise awareness about breast cancer and the Komen Tissue Bank.
Getting There / Parking: Check the Know Before You Go page – this has basic information and the latest updates on parking, transit, street closures, etc. This event is being hosted by the Indy Super Cure
Committee, not Komen Central Indiana – we don’t have any other information or reserved spots for this, so this is the best resource for planning your visit to Super Bowl Village!
Details: As of January 26th, the meet point has changed – survivors will meet at the Pepsi Meridian Stage at 11:30 a.m. and the Super Cure committee will be distributing pink boas first-come, first serve. Simon Says will start at 11:45 a.m., then the Pep Rally is at noon. The Village will be filled with lots of activities for the entire family and there will be continuing concerts on one of two stages all day starting immediately after the Rally, ending with Patti LaBelle at 9:15 p.m. The Colts cheerleaders and Arsenal Tech Technicians show choir are coming out, and local breast cancer survivor Jeff Van Paris is singing the National Anthem at 5:30 p.m. The Village is also going to have kiosks and giveaways throughout the day, so keep an eye out for other cool opportunities while you’re there!
