Komen Seeking Fall 2011 Interns

We are currently seeking interns to help out with Fall 2011 events, communications, fundraisers, education programs, outreach and office projects.

Compensation: This nonprofit organizational internship is unpaid, but we can work with universities for you to receive school credit.

Time Commitment: 12-16 hours per week is preferred. We are very flexible with scheduling and accommodating studying, finals, vacations, etc.

Useful Skills:

• A passion to help Komen fulfill its mission to end breast cancer forever
• Excellent interview and journalism-style writing skills
• Strong proofreading skills
• Proficient using Microsoft Word and Excel

Background: College student who has completed a minimum of 24 credit hours and a concentration in communications, journalism, health and human services, or nonprofit management.
