Would you like to be one of the 2012 Komen Central Indiana Race for the Cure® Ambassadors?
The Komen Central Indiana Race for the Cure is looking for several individuals to be the Komen Ambassadors for 2012. These individuals will be the primary spokespersons helping to promote breast cancer awareness and the upcoming Race at various Komen events including the Pink Tie Ball, Circle of Hope and Pink Ribbon Celebration. The Ambassadors may also be involved in multiple media interviews – both radio and television – and will be involved in Race Day ceremonies.
We are seeking breast cancer survivors or co-survivors who are willing to share their story with the Central Indiana community and bring an important message about breast health, early detection or survivorship to the public. The Komen Ambassadors must be outgoing, enthusiastic and inspiring. They need to have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable in various public speaking roles in order to share their experience with breast cancer to help others and raise funds for the cure.
This is a challenging but very rewarding position – your story may save someone else’s life. You will be a critical part of the success of the 2012 Race for the Cure and will help us move closer to achieving our mission to end breast cancer forever!
