Director of Development

MARCY ZUNK, CFRE

Marcy joined Komen Central Indiana in August 2011 as the director of development. Marcy’s role is to increase revenue by diversifying and expanding current fundraising strategies with an emphasis on annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, corporate sponsors and special events. 

Personal Background

Marcy has been married to her husband Michael for eleven years, and they have a five-year-old daughter, Meryl. They reside in Meridian Kessler. Marcy especially enjoys playing tennis, perennial gardening and sharing great meals and wine with family and friends.

Fun Facts

• Guilty pleasures: tennis, tennis and more tennis, sleeping in (which NEVER happens), watching Survivor (let’s keep this between us!) and the Flying Cupcakes’ red velvet cupcake.
• Favorite beverage:  Morton’s Cool Cucumber, made with ginger beer and St. Germaine Elderflower.
• Favorite book(s):  A Prayer for Owen Meany, by John Irving; Pillars of the Earth, by Ken Follett and ALL novels by Tom Wolfe, especially I am Charlotte Simmons.
• Favorite late night snack: Something salty and crunchy
• Favorite vacation spot: British Virgin Islands
